Cookies make it possible to retain state information, for the validity period of the cookie concerned, when a browser accesses the different pages of a website or when that browser later returns to that website. Only the issuer of a cookie can read or modify the information it contains.

There are different types of cookies:

  • session cookies, which disappear as soon as You leave the website;
  • persistent cookies, which remain on your device until they expire or until You delete them using your browser's features.

The configuration for managing cookies and your choices differs for each browser. It is described in your browser's help menu, which will tell you how to change your cookie preferences (for example for Internet Explorer, Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Opera).

However, please note that if you set your browser to refuse cookies, some features, pages, and areas of the website will not be accessible, and we cannot be held responsible for this.
